Birdland Park

About

Set up in 1957, Birdland was established originally in the centre of Bourton on the Water and was one of the original bird gradens in the UK. It moved to its present location in 1988 and has continued to expand.

Englands only rookery of King Penguins, as well as Flamingos, Owls, Hornb...ills, Ratites, Pelicans, Parrots, Pheasants and many softbills. There is a large nature area as well as an indoor Discovery Zone.

The Flamingo Cafe is open daily from April until October and then weekends only from then on. Hot drinks are available from the gift shop

There is a large public car park adjacent to the park.

Travel back to prehistoric times,  in our Jurassic Journey, hunt for dinosaur eggs and discover ancient fossils to uncover in the Dino-Dig.
